Mariah Carey fan wants apology for Christmas after allegedly being punched by bodyguard in Las Vegas

A Mariah Carey fan was looking for an apology from the singer after claiming that he was punched by her security on Saturday after her Christmas show in Las Vegas.

Yaniv Elharar told TMZ in an article on Tuesday that the alleged assault occurred at Caesars Palace after Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You concert.

Elharar said he was recording video of a bodyguard roughing up another fan and the bodyguard saw him recording.

The bodyguard allegedly smacked Elharar's phone away and punched him in the chest and ribs.

Elharar shared photos of his alleged injuries showing red marks on his ribs and sternum and a bruise on his face.

The concertgoer claimed the bodyguard chased him out and he then called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Police confirmed they took a report and were investigating the incident as a misdemeanor battery.

Elharar posted a grainy video on YouTube on Tuesday of the alleged incident.

The video description read: 'Security guard punched me in the chest and ribs at the @mariah Carey in Vegas.'

'All I did is film him attacking a fan and he grabbed my phone and started punching me I ended up in the ER with high blood pressure and a contusion I am emotionally physically and spiritually Traumatized.'

The video description ended with several hashtags, including: #ArrestTheBodyguard, #BrokenLamb, #AwfulHoliday and #IDeserveAnApologyFromMariah Carey. 

Carey revived her Christmas concert series earlier this month at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. She was forced to cancel two shows at the Beacon and several shows scheduled for November due to an upper respiratory infection.

The five-time Grammy winner was scheduled to perform the Christmas concert on Wednesday and Friday at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The singer announced on Monday via social media that she was postponing concerts planned for February in New Zealand and Australia until October.
