Country singer Michael Ray was arrested early on Wednesday morning.

Police arrived on the scene of a McDonald's in Florida after the crooner, 29, had 'rear ended a car in front of him in the Drive-Thru,' a source told TMZ.

The Kiss You in the Morning singer was slapped with a DUI and possession of weed oil which was found on him at the time of the incident.

It all began when the star was in his 2012 Jeep at the Drive-Thru in hopes of getting an early morning meal.

Michael allegedly hit the car in front of them as they both waited in line.

Police were called to the restaurant and noticed the radio favorite had 'bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, reeked of alcohol and he stumbled when he got out of the car.'

Ray then reportedly failed a series of sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI. He admitted he had just left a bar.

When they were searching the country notable, police found weed oil on him.

TMZ claimed he told police that his foot slipped off the break and that is why he hit the car in front of him. 

The site added that the Think A Little Less songwriter is expected to be released from jail 'shortly.'

Ray released a statement shortly after to People: 'I want to apologize to my fans, family, and my hometown community for placing myself in this situation. I am so very sorry for the disappointment these events have caused everyone. I know it will take time; however, I will do everything I can to rebuild your trust.'

His new tour dates don't start until February 8.

The star is signed to Warner Music Nashville.

He was mentored by John Rich of Big & Rich on the singing competition The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep, which he won.

He and Rich co-wrote Big & Rich's 2015 single, Run Away with You.

In addition to singing, he has also dabbled in acting with the TV show Nashville that stars Hayden Panetierre.
