'I could have Photoshopped it, but I didn't': Lil' Kim claps back at online hater who body-shamed her for sporting skintight latex suit on stage

She's known for her fearless raps.

And Lil' Kim wasn't afraid to speak the truth after some people made fun of the star for having 'belly rolls' while wearing a skintight latex costume for radio station Hot 97's annual Hot For The Holidays concert in New Jersey.

After online body-shamers told the rapstress off for looking less than skeletal in her body-hugging suit, the 42-year-old talent fought back in the comment section, writing: 'I could have Photoshopped it, but I didn’t.'

Clap back: Lil Kim spoke her mind Monday after a mean commenter body shamed the rapper for donning a very, very tight latex suit during her Sunday performance at Hot 97's annual Hot For The Holidays concert in New Jersey, where she took the stage with Remy Ma (right)

Not feeling the love: While many followers complemented the star's bold look, one hater, told the How Many Licks rapper 'You need to tell them to customize that stomach part a little bit more because you could see a rolls not cute sis!!!'

After performing in a custom bodysuit, Kim posted a photo with fellow rapper Remy Ma which was captioned: 'All our clothes custom str8 from France.'

While many followers complemented the star's bold look, one hater, whose words were captured by The Shade Room, responded: 'Well, you need to tell them to customize that stomach part a little bit more because you could see a rolls not cute sis!!!'

Instead of letting the rude comment fly by, the native New Yorker clapped back in a lengthy comment.

Barking back at the commenter, she wrote: 'Working on it Sis its natural most women have [rolls] or have had it especially us women that have kids I’m human.

'I could have Photoshopped it, but I didn’t because I have been working out every day really hard and eating better so I can be the best me that I can possibly be it’s called growth and change.'

While the Magic Stick rapper could have ignored the mean-spirited jab, she explained why she went out of her way to address the negative noise.

'Now I know I don’t owe you spit of an explanation at all' she continued, 'But responding to your negative comment with a positive comment can maybe help someone else who may feel a little self-conscious about their weight gain or little rose that show through their clothes.

Shady lady! Kim didn't finish the comment before throwing a bit of shade, writing 'I’m pretty sure you are miserable not in the best shape yourself'

Kim wasn't finished there however, taking the opportunity to throw some shade at the cold commenter.

'I’m pretty sure you thought this was going to hurt my feelings and tear me down but it didn’t it just give me more motivation.

'Because I’m pretty sure you are miserable not in the best shape yourself and judging by your picture I give you a strong too, and I’m sorry who are you again?

'Anyway, sis get positive and healthy. And get a life go ahead sis you can do it make that change.'

While the Lady Marmalade hitmaker's note talked about self acceptance, much ado has been made about the star's physical transformations over the years.

Many pointing out the star's much smaller nose, fuller cheeks and fairer skin tone as sure evidence of cosmetic surgery.

In 2005 the star confirmed she'd undergone a nose job during a chat with Hot 97's Angie Martinez, telling the radio host that the surgery was necessary after an abusive ex broke her nose.
