She touched down in Australia on Friday, after departing Nashville to spend the holidays with her family.

And Nicole Kidman appeared to be very much in the festive spirit on Saturday while enjoying a day out in Sydney's Palm Beach.

The 50-year-old was all smiles as she spent quality time with her husband Keith Urban, and their growing daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

Her younger sister Antonia Kidman - who is famous in Australia as a TV presenter and journalist - was also present, along with her family.

Nicole highlighted her trim figure in an abstract long-sleeved one-piece, teamed with a white sarong that offered glimpses of her lean legs.

The Moulin Rouge! star accessorised with a trendy round-rimmed hat, and shielded her eyes behind a pair of tortoise-shell sunglasses.

Nicole's blonde locks fell effortlessly around her face and shoulders, and she appeared to sport a minimal makeup palette.

Ensuring she was well-equipped for the beach outing, the Oscar-winning actress carried a beige tote bag, filled to the brim.

Nicole and her husband Keith, 50, were seen doting over their daughters - Sunday Rose, nine, and Faith Margaret, six.

The country music superstar cut a cool and casual figure, opting for a grey T-shirt, board shorts, and black thongs.

Keith coordinated his look with a grey cap and tinted sunglasses, and carried a striped tote bag with beach essentials.

He was pictured making his way across the sand joined by the husband of Nicole's sister Antonia, Craig Marran.

The fitness enthusiast showed off his lean frame in a blue rash vest and white board shorts, and finished off his beach look with a white cap.

Craig, who married Antonia in 2010, carried two tote bags in one hand, and a surfboard in the other.

Meanwhile, Antonia showed off her penchant for style during the outing.

She donned a striped kaftan-style shirt and pastel green linen shorts.

The journalist also accessorised with a straw hat and cat-eye sunglasses.

Nicole told US Weekly of her Christmas plans: 'We go back for the heat. We want to be on the beach for Christmas, no snow. We love the ocean and shrimp!'   

Meanwhile, Woman's Day recently reported that Nicole and Keith are planning a 'permanent' move back to Australia. 

'Nicole has been longing to move back to Oz for some time now,' a source claimed.

'She and Keith have always said they'd eventually settle here, they were just waiting for the right time.'
