Miranda Cosgrove's stalker is arrested for sending emails to iCarly star... after being ordered to stay away for 10 years and ban from social media

Miranda Cosgrove's persistent stalker has been arrested for sending dozens of emails to the star.

The 24-year-old actress has been dealing with the obsessed fan Joshua Stockton for two years.

Law enforcement sources said that the man was arrested earlier this month for allegedly sending her dozens of emails according to a TMZ report on Saturday. 

The publication claims that his messages to Cosgrove were not life-threatening but did see him referring  to her as a 'goddess' and himself a 'prince.'

As he was already sentenced to probation in 2015 and has since been warned by the judge for pusuing her online, TMZ reports that another issue can land him in prison for up to four years.

 This comes just two years after her was banned  from social media by a judge in June 2015.

The previous month Stockton had been ordered to stay away from her for the next decade after getting caught following her around Disneyland, reportedly contacted the stars friends to try to discover her whereabouts.

According to TMZ, Joshua was allowed a few days leave from the psychiatric hospital he has been staying in for good behaviour, but the first thing he did was go to his parents house and use his computer to try to find Miranda.

After she reported him he was ordered off all social media and warned he could face four years in jail if he breaks the ban. 

The website reports he is now back in the psychiatric facility.  

Joshua was slapped with a restraining order in October 2014 and warned to stay 100 yards away from the iCarly star but in February she called cops after she spotting him shadowing her at the California theme park.

TMZ reported that after he pleaded no contest to felony stalking, a judge in LA sentenced Stockton to three years probation.

As part of his sentence, Stockton must also complete a one year treatment program that includes psychiatric counseling. 

The obsessed fan has been hounding the pretty brunette for months and even sent her chilling messages threatening suicide and photos of a slit wrist.

A judge ordered him during a court appearance in October 2014 to stay 100 yards away from Miranda and not contact her for three years. 

At the time, TMZ reported that the actress, in court documents, had said that Stockton was 'not living in the real world' and was a danger to himself and to her.

On February 18, 2015 Miranda called law enforcement after seeing Stockton at Disneyland and he was arrested for violating the restraining order.
