And on Saturday Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber were doing just that as they took to the streets of Los Angeles in a snazzy classic Corvette convertible.

Cindy, 51, looked relaxed in her winter-ready garb, which no doubt helped ward off the chilly air as they puttered along.

The supermodel donned a white hoodie, over which she layered an olive-colored nylon vest.

Tight fitting light wash jeans revealed her legendary figure, while she rounded out the laid back look with a pair of beige trainers.

A pair of oversize shades shielded her eyes from the sun.

Her brunette locks were parted on the left and allowed to fall down past her shoulders.

Husband Rande, 55, was equally casual with getup.

The former male model donned a charcoal grey sweatshirt, jeans and some chunky-looking brown leather boots for the excursion.

Like his lady love, he also opted for a pair of shades once the pair got underway.

The couple looked to be having a ball as the tooled around town the in the enviable vehicle.

To be fair, it looked as though Cindy was having a bit more fun modeling a fancy green velvet coat on Instagram.

After their drive, she took to the social media app to share the unique garment, which featured a large dragon emblem on the back.

She gave a little spin for the camera, and included an explanatory caption for her viewers: 'Excited for a little cold weather so I can finally wear my sparkly @azhariamal coat!'
