She owns a sprawling Anglo-Indian style house in the Bahamas overlooking the ocean.

And veteran supermodel Elle Macpherson used the stunning property to host a very luxe Christmas Day lunch on Tuesday.

Sharing snaps from the celebration, including a lavishly decorated dinner table, the 53-year-old captioned one post: 'Christmas Bahamas style'.

Elle gave her 311,000 Instagram followers a close-up look at the lunch setting, organised by entrepreneur India Hicks.

A generously sized table with coordinating bamboo chairs positioned in the property's lush gardens featured a red tablecloth and antique cutlery.

Moroccan-style vases acted as decadent centrepieces while Bon Bons and holly complimented nicely.
