Aled Jones has has said his family 'mean everything' to him after being axed as the host of Songs of Praise following sexual harassment claims.
In an interview days before it emerged he had been accused of sending inappropriate messages to a female colleague, Jones set out his plans for Christmas, which will now be his first Christmas off TV screens in 32 years.

The singer, who lives in South West London with his wife Claire Fossett, 41, and their children Emelia, 15, and Lucas, 12, said: 'My family are everything to me.
'My kids are incredible human beings and I love being with them,' he told the Mirror.
'Our Christmas is very traditional – eat too much, drink too much and watch too much rubbish on TV.
'I was away for a lot of their younger life, which was rubbish, but that was my job. They're so interesting now, I'm so thankful I'm home and I love it.'
The 46-year-old TV presenter is accused of sending inappropriate messages to a female colleague.
Jones has not been seen on the BBC since the allegations surfaced in October.

He has strongly denied any inappropriate behavior but has said he is 'deeply sorry' for 'occasionally juvenile' behavior ten years ago.
Jones originally shot to fame in 1985 at the tender age of 15 with the song Walking In The Air from the film The Snowman got to number 5 in charts.
The former choirmaster also said he struggles with his faith despite hosting Songs of Praise.

He said: 'I don't go to church very often. My relationship with God is through my music. I'll always love a hymn.
'I wouldn't put myself down as a fantastic Christian.
'I struggle with it as everyone does and occasionally curse.'
The ex-choirboy should have been starring in The Big Sing which airs on Christmas Eve and New Year's Day but was dropped after the allegations came to light.
An episode of the Hairy Bikers has also been dropped and Jones was dropped from Al Murray's ITV Christmas show.
