It's provided fans with a daily dose of sizzling festive spirit in the lead up to Christmas.

And wrapping up this year's LOVE Advent calendar was a more unconventional model - Miss Piggy, who starred in the final video with her Muppets co-stars and a whole host of Miu Miu-clad celebrities.

In her usual diva style, the famous puppet is seen embarking on a glamorous photo shoot, where she sings with a sequin-clad Rita Ora, snaps selfies with Winnie Harlow and dances wildly with a number of other top models.

The video begins with Rankin anxiously anticipating Miss Piggy's arrival on set, joking: 'I've only got four and half minutes with her - I had five with the queen so it's nerve-wracking, but apparently she's very professional.'

The scene then cuts to Game Of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie, who took on the brief role of a fierce celebrity agent in a peach and white fluffy jacket.

Before the puppet's arrival, the models then speculate what Miss Piggy will really be like - with an excited Poppy Delevingne wondering whether the pair will be 'best friends' by the end of the day.

Appearing to a chorus 'Miss Piggy', the revered puppet entered the gallery space in a black v-necked dress with Chanel-inspired pearls wrapped around her neck and a pair of oversized shades.

However, things soon go awry when Miss Piggy proves to be a diva, knocking coffee and breakfast out of her way to slump on the sofa and sleep.

Concerned for the shoot, model Barbara Palvin soon attempts to wake her up, but Miss Piggy immediately bats her off, sending the beauty clad in a retro purple dress flying across the sofa.

The other puppets also got involved, with Poppy Delevingne fooling around with Animal, while Joan Smalls fought for camera time with Sam Eagle in matching blue.

Next up, fashion writer Derek Blasberg was then captured greeting Kermit the Frog with a double kiss on the cheek before the video cut to Miss Piggy again who rib-tickling commented once again to her model pal: 'Yeah that's also my light, thank you'.

However after her four minutes of shooting was up, Hailey Baldwin then stole attention from the models - leaving Miss Piggy dejected.

Kermit, sensing something is wrong, assures her everybody loved her on the shoot and, as they arrive at their next destination, they are greeted by an explosion of fans shouting Miss Piggy’s name, helping her realise she is truly loved.

After a star-studded series of videos for the 2017 calendar, the final LOVE Advent video starred a huge number of big names - including Adwoa Aboah, Doutzen Kroes, Edie Campbell, Katie Grand, Lily Nova and Nick Grimshaw.

The video also featured many Muppet favourites including Beaker, Floyd Pepper, Fozzie Bear, Janice, Sam Eagle, Uncle Deadly, and Scooter.

'When Miss Piggy deigned to talk to me, you can see in the film that I was pretty much speechless – that's not acting!

'They say, never meet your heroes, and obviously doing what I do, I've met a few of mine, but meeting the Muppets really took the biscuit!'

LOVE magazine releases a steamy Advent Calendar shoot every year and enlists the help of the fashion world's hottest stars to countdown to Christmas.

This theme of the 2017 edition is female empowerment - with all videos beginning with the hashtag '#StayStrong', and following the models carrying out a slew of exercises while clad in their barley-there sports gear or lingerie.

The project was shot by Phil Poynter, styled by Sally Lyndley, and stars several more beauties, including the likes of Karlie Kloss, Hailey Baldwin, Sara Sampaio, Teyana Taylor, Alexis Ren and Barbara Palvin.

Other stars include actress Kate Upton, Taylor Hill, Romee Strijd and Stella Maxwell.
