The plunging winter temperatures currently sweeping across Britain were of no concern to Lottie Moss as she hit the beach during her current stay in Miami.

The model sister of catwalk veteran Kate Moss has swapped chilly England for notably warmer climes over the Christmas period, and she took full advantage of her balmy surroundings after stepping out on Boxing Day.

Lottie, 19, showed off her slender physique in a simple white bikini while making her way across Miami Beach during her latest appearance on the popular east coast holiday destination.

Keeping her eyes shielded behind a pair of heavily tinted sunglasses, Lottie looked typically relaxed as she she made her way across the sweeping stretch of coastline.

Evidently keen to document her current stay in Miami with a series of snaps, the model paused to take photos on her iPhone - but refrained from taking a dip in the azure Atlantic surf.

Enjoying a solo outing, Lottie soon took the weight off her feet by stretching out on the sand, where she made the most of her tropical surroundings by topping up her tan.

The model is currently signed with with Storm Model Management, the same agency that manages models such as Cindy Crawford and Behati Prinsloo.

Speaking ahead of a Q&A event at London's BeautyCon Festival in December, Lottie's told the Evening Standard why she took the leap into modelling at the very young age of 13.

She said: 'I went into Storm to talk to them. I was so young, I didn’t really even know what was going on. I just thought: "This is really cool."

'Everything just kind of happened. It is all a bit of a blur for me as I was so young. You realise that when you are older how amazing this opportunity is. I mean who gets to do this? No one.'

'If I looked back and I hadn’t done it, I would be like: "Why didn’t I do it?" I know I was young but I feel like you only get one shot and you just have to take it."

Lottie first courted the attention of the modelling world when she attended her older half-sister Kate's wedding to her ex-husband Jamie Hince in 2011.

Meanwhile she appears to have well moved on following her split from former Made In Chelsea beau Alex Mytton over the summer.

The model spent much of the summer with Alex while he was filming new episodes of Made In Chelsea Ibiza, before reports of their split surfaced.

Alex later hinted that he had been unfaithful while away filming in Ibiza during a chat on BBC Radio 1 this afternoon.

Asked about his antics on The White Isle ahead of the show's return, he confessed: 'I wasn't exactly single when I went out to Ibiza for Made in Chelsea.

'It's very hard for me,' he explained. 'It's tricky to hold down a girlfriend when you're in a place like Ibiza.'
