Woman may have been murdered as she walked through London

Iuliana Tudos, 22,(main) was found next to a pavilion in the heart of Finsbury Park, North London, yesterday - three days after she was last seen. Police said her next of kin, who are abroad, have been informed. A post-mortem examination was being carried out on Thursday evening at Haringey Mortuary, with a result expected by Friday, police said. Today an area of the north-east corner of the park, close to a baseball pitch, was cordoned off as murder detectives investigated how she died (right, top and bottom). Ms Tudos's home in nearby Upper Tollington Park was also searched by police(left). Neighbour Sebastian Jonathan said: 'She was a very nice person, young and gorgeous.'

Hitler's 1939 armor-plated 'super Mercedes' up for auction

A Mercedez-Benz supercar built for Adolf Hitler will go up for auction in the US eight decades after it was parked in the tyrant's garage.  The German 770 Grosser, which became known as the Super Mercedes, was used by the Führer during victory parades (main) such as the conquering of France (inset right), Greece and Yugoslavia and to entertain guests such as Italian fascist dictator Mussolini. Built with bulletproof glass and armor-plated side panels, Hitler personally ordered the 7.7liter beast - serial number 189744 (inset left) - which he took delivery of in July 1939 in Berlin. After the Nazis were obliterated, the US Army seized the vehicle in 1945 and was passed between tobacco tycoons, casino magnates and historians before finding itself under the hammer with Worldwide Auctioneers - Vintage Motorcar Specialists - on January 17 in Arizona.
