The cameras have mostly been tucked away during the Danish Royal Family's Australian holiday.
But it was one low-key trip to Palm Beach last week that got the country talking as Princess Mary showed off her incredible figure.
And now a source has claimed that the 45-year-old Crown Princess is feeling better than ever after starting the Ketogenic diet.
'This is really working for Mary. She might have four kids, but she's in the best shape of her life despite being a really busy, time-poor mum,' the source told New Idea.
A source told New Idea that Princess Mary is in the 'best shape of her life' after starting a Ketogenic diet this year (pictured here at Sydney's Palm Beach last week)
Princess Mary's new Ketogenic diet includes regular portions of nuts, salmon, and greens, a source has claimed
Princess Mary has allegedly joined a slew of celebrity keto fans, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian, who swear by the low carbohydrate, high fat programme.
While a standard diet is made up of 30 to 50 per cent carbohydrates, a Ketogenic diet consists of only five to 20 per cent.
Fat thus becomes the body's main source of energy, causing it to shift into 'ketosis' - which is when fat is broken down into ketones to fuel the muscles and the brain.
This results in enhanced fat burning in the body and relatively quick weight loss.
Sources said Princess Mary began the Ketogenic diet because she had recently been feeling 'sluggish' and needed a change
The source said the mother-of-four began 'eating erratically' after taking on more royal duties after Prince Henrik stepped down from the palace for health reasons
Princess Mary's new Ketogenic diet includes regular portions of nuts, salmon, and greens, a source told the magazine.
While the Princess has always been incredibly active, sources claim she had recently been feeling 'sluggish'.
'As a result of taking on more Royal duties – with Prince Henrik stepping down from palace duty given his poor health – and running around after four kids, Mary started eating erratically and felt she needed to get her diet back in order,' they added.
But, the source claims, Princess Mary has since found incredible results from the Ketogenic diet.
'Mary is really committed to being in the best shape she can be - no matter her age,' they said.
That was apparent when Princess Mary was spotted with husband Prince Frederik and their four children at Sydney's Palm Beach last weekend.
The Danish royals were among the only people enjoying the beach, where they were spotted playing football, riding body boards, and catching some waves.

While Princess Mary did emerge from the water with a nasty cut to her elbow at one point, nothing could dampen the family's spirits - and Prince Frederik was straight to the rescue, applying a band-aid.
For the active day, Princess Mary sported a flattering, black, sports-inspired swimsuit featuring a cut-out back with mesh detailing at the front and back.
She topped the look with designer black sunglasses and later added her husband's baseball cap.
During their few hours on the beach, the couple's children, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine enjoyed body boarding and swimming.
The twins also enjoyed kicking around a beach football on the sand, before the family later retired to a nearby cafe for lunch.
Princess Mary, who was born in Australia, and her husband arrived with their four children ahead of a planned holiday with Mary's family earlier this month.
They spent the Christmas holiday in Princess Mary's hometown in Hobart, and have rarely been spotted in public.
Princess Mary previously visited Australia with her family in 2015, as well as with Prince Frederik in 2013, but did not travel to Tasmania on either trip.
The Royal family's previous vacation in Australia garnered numerous headlines as they visited the likes of Perth, the Gold Coast, and Byron Bay.
