'I don't think any of us will be able to escape it!' Friends star Matt LeBlanc spills why he can NEVER put his most successful role as Joey Tribbiani behind him
He first rose to fame playing the Italian-American food enthusiast and not-so-smart aspiring actor, Joey Tribbiani.
And on Tuesday, Matt LeBlanc revealed the reason why he would never be able to 'escape' his most recognisable role from hit sitcom Friends.
Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald on Tuesday, the 50-year-old star confessed he'd never try to 'escape' the show that ended in 2004 as it brings too much joy.

Not letting go: On Tuesday, Matt LeBlanc revealed the reason why he would never be able to 'escape' his most recognisable role from hit sitcom Friends
'I'm very proud of that show. I don't feel the need to put it behind me,' he said.
'And I don't think any of us [the cast] will be able to escape it. But I also don't see why we should try to.'
'That's something that new generations discover every year, and it's on all the time all over the world and it makes people laugh and it's brought people a lot of joy,' he continued.
Will stay with him forever: 'I'm very proud of that show. I don't feel the need to put it behind me'
It brings laughter: 'That's something that new generations discover every year, and it's on all the time all over the world and it makes people laugh and it's brought people a lot of joy'
But while much of the world still turns to the comedy to enjoy a few laughs, Matt says his 13-year-old daughter Marina isn't as impressed.
Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier in the year, he said his teenager 'couldn't care less'.
'I don't think she thinks I'm cool,' he said.
Not fussed: Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier in the year, Matt said his teenager 'couldn't care less' about his most successful role as Joey Tribbiani
'I think her friends at school are watching Friends now, that's about the age they get into it, but she, she can't be bothered.'
'She just couldn't care less,' added Matt.
Matt currently stars in the sitcom, Episodes, in its fifth and final season.
