'They're gone forever': Roseanne makes light of TV husband Dan Conner's death in promo for revival
Roseanne during a Christmas Day promo for the upcoming revival gave a nod to the death of Dan Conner in the season nine finale and his return.
The promo aired during the game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors on ABC.
Dan, played by 65-year-old John Goodman, sat on a couch with his daughter Becky, played by Lecy Goranson, 43.

Roseanne, played by 65-year-old Roseanne Barr, then stepped into the living room decorated for the holidays.
'How's the basketball game?,' Roseanne asked.
'It's dope,' Becky said.
'But I still think the Bulls of 96-97 would've beat these guys anytime,' Dan added, referencing the Chicago Bulls team lead by basketball legend Michael Jordan.

Roseanne then quickly scolded her husband.
'You can't live in the past, Dan. When things are gone, they're gone forever,' she told him.
The clip ended with Roseanne unleashing her signature cackle of laughter.

Viewers learned during the season nine finale that Dan had died of a heart attack.
The episode ending the original run was titled Into That Good Night and aired on May 20, 1997, wrapping the show that kicked off in 1988.
The eight-episode Roseanne revival will premiere on March 27 on ABC with an hour-long episode titled Twenty Years To Life.
