'We feel like young lovers again': Pregnant Chrissy Teigen and John Legend FINALLY celebrate his 39th birthday in Tokyo after flight debacle

John Legend celebrated his 39th birthday by eating ramen noodles in Tokyo with wife Chrissy Teigen after their hellish flight experience.

The Love Me Now hitmaker and his model spouse, 32, finally made it to the Japanese capital on Thursday, but decided to put off their planned trip to the city of Nagoya, which is a further 344 kilometers away.

Chrissy - who is pregnant with the couple's second child - tweeted that the couple felt like 'young lovers again' as they previously visited Tokyo in 2012, a year before they got married.

Steal Chrissy's style in a distressed jumper by IRO

When doesn’t Chrissy Teigen look cool? Today she proved her maternity wear is just as stylish as any!

Here she went for a causal ensemble, which consisted of black skinny jeans, a slouch jumper, heeled boots and oversized sunglasses. We absolutely love her distressed knit by ISO. The classic cable knit has loose drop stitching that creates shredded, pulled-yarn destruction. Worn off the shoulder, it’s effortless cool at its best.

The couple's baby daughter Luna, 20 months, is believed to have stayed at home with her grandparents.

Chrissy claimed the reason for the All Nippon Airways (ANA) aircraft heading back to Los Angeles was because of a passenger who boarded the wrong flight.

Her first tweet read: 'a flying first for me: 4 hours into an 11 hour flight and we are turning around because we have a passenger who isn't supposed to be on this plane. Why ... why do we all gotta go back, I do not know.'

Several outlets reported that flight 175 landed back at LAX at approximately 7:30 p.m., nearly eight hours after initial takeoff.

After being made comfortable and eating some ramen noodles, the couple were able to board a new plane to Tokyo.

The brunette beauty said she was feeling 'forgiving', but had she been drinking, it could have gone very differently.

Chrissy wrote: 'Getting on another flight now oh bless ... Drinking Chrissy would be very mad. Sober Chrissy is forgiving and patient.'

The happy couple announced they were expecting their second child last month, with Chrissy enlisting the help of their adorable daughter Luna to reveal the news in an Instagram video clip.

Chrissy and John married in Lake Como, Italy, in September 2013 and welcomed Luna in April 2016.

The beauty has been open about her desire to expand her family, recently telling E! News she would love to be 'pregnant for the rest of her life' if she could.

She shared: 'I really want to just knock 'em out. That's my dream, I want to just be pregnant kind of for the rest of my life. Not for the rest of my life, but the rest of my fertile life. So we'll see.'
