Supreme comfort! Diana Ross, 73, touches down at LAX in fluffy boots and shades after a festive break... ahead of Hawaii and Vegas shows

She made the most of the Christmas period with a festive break away ahead of her performances in Hawaii and Vegas in the New Year.

So it's no surprise Diana Ross, 73, declared she was 'ready' to return to the music scene as she touched down at LAX airport in California on Saturday.

The legendary songstress looked youthful as she donned a stylish furry jacket and trendy shades when she made a low-key arrival at the terminal.

Under wraps, the I'm Coming Out hitmaker styled a jacket edged with golden faux fur and decorative stars for an edgy vibe.

The American singer's bouncy corkscrew locks were styled in her iconic fashion which drew attention to her face.

Stunning Diana is wasting no time in the new year as she will be getting on stage to put on a show-stopping performance in Hawaii in early January before jetting off to Las Vegas to do it all over again.

On Friday, she shared with her 68,800 followers on Twitter: '2018 performances Hawaii January, Vegas February - I’M READY.'

Diana was propelled to fame in the band The Supremes during the 1960's and the girl band became Motown's most successful band.

The pop stars also established themselves as the best charting girl group in US history and one of the world's best-selling girl bands of all time.

December marked the 55th anniversary of The Supremes' first album Meet The Supremes which hit the shelves in 1962. 

The 12-time Grammy nominee then embarked on a sky-rocketing solo career when she left The Supremes in 1970.  

Diana revealed she hasn't been really nervous getting on stage to perform since she first took the music industry by storm.

The sensational singer explained her dad told her her feelings of nerves were because she was excited and she hasn't look back ever since.

She told The Los Angeles Times in November: 'When I was just beginning in the industry, I would tell my dad that I felt nervous. He was so wonderful. He explained that the feeling of nerves is exactly like the feeling of excitement.

'So I know that whatever I’m feeling it was more excitement and joy of wanting to do my passion.'
