While Beyonce wasn't there to accompany him for the event, Ed, 26, took to the stage to sing some of his hits after what has been another record-breaking year for him.
Host of the show Jools Holland himself revealed earlier this week that Beyonce, 36, was so impressed after watching Ed perform on the same show in 2014, that she approached him for a collaboration.
The songwriter belted out Stevie Wonder's Master Blaster for the popular New Year musical show, and Beyonce caught the performance on YouTube before calling Ed up for the winning collaboration.
Jools recently spoke to Event Magazine, and said Ed was over-the-moon over at the news that the Crazy in Love hitmaker had watched him perform.
