He has been soaking up the winter sun in St Barts on his annual family holiday.

But Sir Paul McCartney, 75, meant business on Sunday as he headed for a power lunch with his billionaire pal George Lucas.

Flanked by his daughter Stella, 46, the Beatles legend seemed in high spirits as the trio gathered for a bite to eat ahead of their New Year's celebrations.

Sir Paul appeared deep in discussion as he chatted away to Star Wars and Indiana Jones director George as he headed into the swanky restaurant.

Meanwhile, fashionista Stella looked effortlessly chic in a paisley patterned red dress and black cat-eye sunglasses.

The fashion designer looked thoroughly relaxed as she tried to take a selfie on the family outing.

Stella, who designed her first jacket at age 13, has gone on to receive numerous accolades in the fashion world and is worth an estimated £55million.

Meanwhile Lucas, who is best known as the creator of the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, has a reported fortune of £40billion after selling his company to Walt Disney back in 2012.

Stella was joined by her husband Alistair and their children, Reiley, Beckett, Miller and Bailey, as well as her sister Mary.

The mother-of-four and her father have been spending some quality time together while away, even attending a Jimmy Buffet concert aboard his luxury yacht.

Sir Paul has been soaking up the sun with his wife Nancy, 58, all week, pictured enjoying affectionate hugs together.

The family have returned to hurricane-ravaged St Barts just four months after Irma threatened to wipe out the luxury holiday hotspot.

Earlier this year, the island's Eden Rock Hotel & Villas - a luxury resort owned by the parents of Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews and his brother, Pippa Middleton's husband James - was damaged in the natural disaster.

Jennifer Connelly and her husband Paul Bettany, Ashley Oslen, Olivia Palermo, Jake Gyllenhaal and Chrissy Teigen all visited St Barts last year but seem to have decamped to other destinations in 2017.
