Zoe Ball has introduced her new boyfriend to her ex-husband Norman Cook and their two children, reports The Sun.

The 47-year-old presenter has been seen enjoying a string of dates with businessman beau, Michael Reed, in what is believed to be her first romance since her late partner Billy Yates, committed suicide seven months ago.

The family get-together is said to have gone swimmingly with insiders saying: 'For her family to want to spend time with them as a couple is just the icing on the cake after she has found happiness again. She's over the moon they approve'.

The star appears to have found love again as she was said to be delighted that the 47-year-old father-of-two and construction firm boss was welcomed by Norman, known by his moniker Fatboy Slim, and their children Woody, 16, and Nelly, seven.

A source said: 'It shows things are getting serious, Zoe's family are so important to her. Zoe has remained very close to Norman and he has been a rock to her through everything.

'It really means a lot to Zoe to also have his seal of approval and for Michael and Norman to get on.'

It comes after emotional Zoe paid a touching tribute to her 'loved ones up in the stars' on Christmas Eve.

The star's fans were quick to send her well wishes at Christmas following her poignant post. One shared, 'What lovely words. Gone but never forgotten, forever in our hearts', while another wrote, 'Sending you so much love Zoe'.

Prior to the latest tribute, Zoe shared a touching and poignant tribute to her late boyfriend to mark six months since his passing, after he was found dead in his Putney flat after committing suicide.

She posted a photo of herself and Billy to her Instagram page alongside a lengthy and emotional message addressed to her love, in which she revealed she is still struggling with her grief, but feels she is getting 'a little bit stronger every day'. 

Captioning her selfie of the duo, Zoe revealed she is comforted by the thought that the cameraman is now 'at peace', but admitted she still finds his passing 'impossible to comprehend.' 

In the heartfelt post, Zoe penned: '6 months today @billwahweewoo no time at all, yet so so long to be without you & your wondrous ways, your love...

'your gorgeous monkey face, your voice, your laughter, your daftness, your glorious commentary on the worlds shenanigans, your mess, your big bear hugs & your dancing feets...

The star also took the time to thank those that have 'reached out' to her in the months following Billy's death and shared their own experiences with her. Zoe insisted: 'You have all helped me more than you could ever imagine.'

She then urged followers to 'keep sharing, keep listening and keep campaigning' when it comes to mental health and those in need of support.
