She recently revealed she was looking forward to Christmas for the first time since her father's death thanks to the love and support of her boyfriend Marcel Somerville.
And Gabby Allen had some bad news on Thursday when her grandmother sadly passed away, with the star taking to Instagram to share the sad news with her followers.

Gabby lost her father five years ago to cancer, aged just 54, and the Christmas period is particularly difficult for her family.
She posted: 'Sadly this time of year for my family doesn't bring much luck.
'I will be taking today away from social media as My Nana passed away this morning. Thanks for your understanding.'
Gabby had been uploading a series of sweet snaps from her relaxing home visit, including a loving tribute to Marcel for improving her festive season.
'It has been THE BEST Christmas in a long time thanks to my beautiful family & this special one @marcel_rockyb', she wrote.

She revealed she struggled to look forward to the holidays following the tragic loss of her father, telling The Daily Star:' 'Going through everything means I've been a Scrooge for the past five years - I have hated Christmas.
'But Marcel has been so lovely and told me to get ready for the most love-filled Christmas ever this year.
'This is the first one I've looked forward to since I lost my dad.'
Gabby and Marcel were one of the strongest couples to exit the Love Island villa in July, though it hasn't always been plain sailing, and are stronger than ever.
