Ready for her close-up! Nicole Kidman pouts for the camera as she gets her makeup done ahead of the Golden Globes red carpet

She was recognised for her performance in HBO's Big Little Lies at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

But before her red carpet appearance, Nicole Kidman offered her Facebook followers a glimpse of her pre-show routine.

In a social media photo, the 50-year-old actress was seen getting her makeup done while wearing just a white sheet.

'So excited to be sharing this night with my girlfriends from #BLL (Big Little Lies),' Nicole captioned the photo.

Pouting for the camera, Nicole crossed her arms while her glam squad made sure she was red carpet ready.

With a dark eye and nude lip, Nicole's youthful complexion also featured a sweep of blush.

Her hair was also styled in soft loose waves draping down the sides of her face.

Later, Nicole turned heads at the Golden Globes in a sparkly floor length ensemble featuring a semi-sheer top.

Alongside her husband Keith Urban, she wore black in support of the Time's Up movement.
