She's nominated for a Golden Globe award for 13 Reasons Why.

And Australian actress Katherine Langford, 21, stunned in an elegant black gown and jaw-dropping jewels as she walked the red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.

The brunette beauty donned an embellished black gown in support of the Time's Up campaign - backing the movement against sexual assault in Hollywood.

The Golden Globes is the perfect time to go a little more eccentric with your eveing wear and when Katherine Langford walked the red carpet for the event she looked unrecognizable.

Although she didn't win on the night she won us over with her incredible look, which was styled by Molly Dickson.

The actress wore this custom Prada gown with a deep plunging neckline, long sleeves and pleated skirt that drapes the body and almost has a vintage Angelina Jolie aesthetic to it. Adding some sparkle to the evening (besides the stars she wore in her hair and Chopard jewels) the dress was adorned along the waistband with crystals in a ditsy scattered effect that tied the dress together and flattered the figure.

Katherine's frock featured long sleeves and a flowing skirt.

Meanwhile, the Aussie star's long dark locks where pushed to one side in loose tousled curls, and she wore a stunning diamond star headpiece.

Katherine's makeup included dewy foundation, a smokey eye and a soft pink lip.

Katherine is nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why.

Having been bullied by peers at her school, her character Hannah commits suicide and records on cassette tapes the 13 reasons why she ended her life.

Katherine told The Daily Telegraph this week that she is 'truly grateful' for the nomination.

Having played a teen who takes her own life, the 21-year-old explained: 'We need to shine a light.'

'My sincere hope is that the recognition continues to shine a light on so many of the important life issues and struggles we portray in 13 Reasons Why,' Katherine said.
