And as celebrities wore black to show solidarity with the victims of sexual harassment and assault, Emma Watson also shone the spotlight on noted women's group leader Marai Larasi who was her guest at the 2018 Golden Globes on Sunday.
The Harry Potter actress, 27, looked over the moon to be attending the star-studded awards with Marai, who is the executive director of British organisation Imkaan, a feminist organisation which fights to end violence against Black and 'Minority Ethnic' (BME) women and girls.

Emma cracked a radiant smile as she posed with Marai, clad in an elegant black silk floor length gown, with ruffled sleeves and a semi-sheer panel over the bust, while Marai looked stylish in a chic black suit.
The dress also featured a thigh-high split with Emma adding height with strappy ribbon heels.
Her brunette locks were styled into an elegant updo and her make-up look featured fluttery lashes and red lipstick.
She accessorised with sustainable jewellery from Lilian von Trapp.
Speaking to E! on the red carpet, Emma said she wanted to highlight the incredible work that organisations such as Imkaan do.

Emma Watson presented an award with Robert Pattinson at the 75th Golden Globes Awards this week and she looked stunning as she took to the stage.
Emma had chosen to don a custom number by Ronald van der Kamp for the ceremony and we adored the sexy sheer panel and pleated high neck and shoulder trims.
Emma had set the all black ensemble (to support the 'Time's Up' movement) off with a slick of red lippy that made the look pop.
