But a NW magazine report has claimed Sam Smith and 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn are ready to walk down the aisle.

A source claimed on Monday that the smitten couple, who are not engaged, are considering saying 'I do' in Australia, weeks after the nation legalised same-sex marriage.

'Sam thinks it's the perfect place to get married,' an unnamed source said.

According to the magazine, the pair have been gallivanting around Sydney to celebrate the New Year and even checked out Jonah's restaurant in Palm Beach - an iconic and well-known wedding venue.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Sam for comment.

The Stay With Me singer, 25, recently opened up to V magazine about his new relationship, admitting it was the first time he truly believed he 'deserved to be happy.'
