Keith Urban has released a new song written by a team of top songwriters including Ed Sheeran.

Parallel Line, is the first single from Urban's upcoming ninth studio album Graffiti U and was written by Sheeran, Julia Michaels (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez) Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid, Benjamin Levin (Maroon 5, Katy Perry, The Weeknd) and Sheeran collaborator, Amy Wadge.

Wadge co-wrote Sheeran's massive hit Thinking Out Loud and was also one of the writers who worked with Kylie Minogue in Nashville on her upcoming new album Golden.

"I just loved the song the very first time I heard it - it just struck me as one of those kind of songs that comes along very very rarely. I grabbed my guitar, started playing it and it just fit. It felt so right for me and I was just anxious to get in the studio and get to work on it," Urban said.

Sheeran has written many songs released by other artists including Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd.
