She may be married to the future King of England; but there are some unfortunate realities of modern life that even the Duchess of Cambridge can't avoid.
Kate was snapped stuck in traffic at the wheel of her Range Rover in London on Friday afternoon, likely on her way to fetch Prince George from school.
The pregnant Duchess could have been any other busy mum as she waited patiently ahead of a number 11 bus on the Kings Road in Chelsea.
Famously determined to give their children as normal an upbringing as possible given, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose to send four-year-old Prince George to the relatively low-key Thomas's Battersea.

On her way to fetch Prince George? The Duchess of Cambridge was snapped at the wheel of her Range Rover on the Kings Road on Friday afternoon
Her four-year-old son Prince George started at Thomas's Battersea - across the river from his home at Kensington Palace - back in September
The fee-paying day school is across the river and 3.6miles of busy central London roads away from the family home at Kensington Palace.
But the threat of rush hour traffic clearly hasn't put Kate off being there to meet George at the gate at the end of the day.
Kate was unable to join Prince George on his first day at school back in September, because she was suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum - a severe form of morning sickness that affected her while she was expecting both George and his little sister Princess Charlotte, two.
Set up 40 years ago, the school, a short drive from Kensington Palace, describes itself as being ‘happy, dynamic and vibrant’ and priding itself on its ‘excellent academic results’.

Earlier this week she paid an official visit to Bond Primary School in London, and also Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital

Its website describes it as a ‘busy, thriving purposeful school’ which has 540 boys and girls between the ages of four and 13, and its alumni include Cara Delevingne and Florence Welch.
The Duchess is due to give birth to the Cambridge's third child in the spring.
Her low key Friday afternoon came at the end of a busy week for Kate, who visited Coventry Cathedral with Prince William, then later visited both Great Ormond Street Hospital and Bond Primary School in Mitcham on a solo day of engagements on Wednesday.
The Duchess, who changed out of her smart dress into sports gear to play with pupils, was a hit with the schoolchildren, who were snapped lining up to give her a hug at the end of her visit.

Make like Kate in track pants by Monreal London
We're so used to her signature midi dresses and court heels, that seeing the Duchess of Cambridge in activewear is somewhat refreshing!
She visited the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative at Bond Primary School in London recently, but of course Kate didn't throw on an old pair of leggings and a T-shirt for the sporting occasion. Instead she looked super chic in her activewear wearing stripe side track pants and Nike trainers.
Somewhere in between joggers and leggings, we love the yellow waistband, distinctive logo and super flattering go-faster stripe down the side of these trousers. They're by Monreal London, a brand founded by tennis player turned designer Stefanï Grosse, whose pieces have been worn by everyone from Victoria Beckham to Kate's little sister Pippa.
