Officers can be seen escorting the youngsters from the home (bottom right), some of whom ran from the house in which they had been kept chained to their beds and tortured by their parents for years. As grisly new details on the case starts to emerge, last week the evil parents pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of torture, false imprisonment and child abuse.

A body has been found in the search for missing Ursula Keogh, an 11-year-old girl from Halifax, West Yorkshire (pictured left). She went missing at 3.45pm yesterday afternoon and was last seen in her school uniform. A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said a body was found last night at the Paris Gates on the River Calder (right). He added: 'Enquiries will remain ongoing to determine a cause of the death, however, at this stage, it is not believed there are any suspicious circumstances.' Hundreds of people have taken to Facebook pay tribute to the 'lovely' schoolgirl. After saying farewell to the 89-year-old family patriarch Norman Sanders in October, his ashes were placed in a homemade boat and set sail on Saturday headed for Britain.
