{Amigurumi - Pedro the Bear}

Last week was quite a hectic one! Despite the chaotic schedule I managed to find time and go buy some new yarn, which included a brown eyelash one! Once I came home with my yarn bag I was so excited that I started crocheting a bear using my new eyelash yarn!

So, I proudly present you Pedro the bear!

A tip when crocheting with eyelash yarn.

• Normally amigurumi are made using small hooks, in order for you to crochet using the eyelash yarn I recommend using a larger hook like 3.5 mm for the head and body and a smaller for the other body parts. Why??? So that you won't lose count of your stitches. With a larger hook you can see what you  are actually crocheting. Alternatively you can use a sticth marker.

The muzzle.

R1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook. (6)

R2-3:  sc around (6)

Embroider nose and mouth.

Alternatively cut a round piece of white felt and embroider the nose and mouth using black embroidery yarn.

The shawl.

Cut a  piece of felt and sew a button at the closing point.
