Kady McDermott appears to throw shade at Amber Davies by reminding fans she wore the same sequin jumpsuit a YEAR ago on Instagram

They have made a number of catty comments about each other on social media in recent months.

And Kady McDermott appeared to throw even more shade at her so-called rival Amber Davies on Tuesday night. 

Minutes after Amber arrived at the National Television Awards in a glittering jumpsuit, Kady took to Instagram to share a snap of herself in the same look last year - drawing attention to the fact she wore it first.

Amber made a dazzling arrival at the NTAs in the glitzy £295 jumpsuit, which plunged at the neck and was adorned with gold sequins all over.

Minutes later, Kady shared a snap of herself in the same one-piece from her ByKady launch in March 2017 - perhaps in a subtle dig at Amber, to prove she wore it first.

Hammering the message home, the brunette wrote beside the throwback on Instagram: 'Nearly a year since the @bykady_launch! How time flys!'

Fans immediately began to question whether Kady had deliberately posted the image on Twitter, to throw more shade at her Love Island 'rival'.

One fan wrote: 'Anyone else think kady only reposted a pic on her insta story of her from her bykady launch wearing the black and gold jumpsuit because amber wore a similar one tonight to be like I wore it first??? Or am I thinking into it to much'

While another added: 'So there is beef between @kadymcdermottx and @Amber_Davies7 as it is but she jut topped it off wearing the same outfit for the NTA's as Kady around this time last year lol'

Another claimed the star was 'petty', chiming in: 'How petty is Kady from Love Island... Posted a pic in the same outfit Amber from LI is wearing to the NTA's tonight'

Yet further fans defended Kady and blasted Amber for reigniting the feud by mimicking her outfit, writing: 'She's copying @kadymcdermottx kady wore this last year for her launch #getyourownlook' 

Fans noticed the similarities between Amber and Kady when the former appeared on the 2017 series of Love Island, one year after the make-up artist.

However, the pair famously fell out when Kady slammed Amber for using her catchphrase from the 2016 series, 'pocket rocket'.

Amber went on to block Kady on social media, and made a subtle dig at her by claiming the former Love Island stars were not being supportive of the newbies.

She told the Daily Star: 'I'm quite shocked. You'd think they'd be supportive. They've been in the same situation as you, they know how it works.'

Before adding: 'The show changed my life and it'll change the lives of the new contestants. I definitely will be taking a different approach to some of the people this year.'  

Kady went on to claim she 'wasn't surprised' when Amber and Kem Cetinay split, as she felt the brunette was 'not as genuine as him' on the show. 

Discussing their clash soon after, she told MailOnline: 'I don't know why [she blocked me]. I think she got compared to me a lot on Love Island and then she went with my old management.

'Obviously me being me, I tweeted about the show as did everyone else and my opinion on her wasn't the best so obviously when she came out she maybe got told and then I don't really know.'
