'Hell yeah!': Gwyneth Paltrow jokes her massive engagement ring could double as Yoni Egg sex toy

She flashed her massive engagement ring for the first time at the Producers Guild Awards last week.

And while it's quite a serious piece of bling, Gwyneth Paltrow - who became engaged to Brad Falchuk late last year - has no problem with people poking fun at the intimidating rock.

Flashing a photo of the eye-catching stone on the Late Show on Thursday, Stephen Colbert asked: 'Could that be used as a Yoni egg? It's so huge!'

Serious bling: Gwyneth Paltrow appeared on Stephen Colbert on Thursday and talked about her massive sapphire engagement ring

'Hell, yeah!' the Iron Man star jokingly replied.

Yoni is the Sanskrit word for female genitalia and a Yoni Egg is a semiprecious stone carved into an egg shape and polished to be worn inside the vagina.

Gwyneth, 45, made the eggs famous by featuring them on her Goop website last year however, medical professionals have warned people against using them.

Colbert also inquired about the engagement ring with the mother-of-two answering that it was a sapphire but had no idea what the cut or carat was.

'You know more than I do!' she giggled.

The couple met on the set of Glee in 2010 and have been dating for three years.

Inside her lifestyle magazine GOOP, she revealed why she decided to give romantic love a second chance after the breakdown of her 11-year marriage to Chris Martin.

She penned: 'Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be. I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that are made possible by intimacy.'

Sparks started flying when the actress first met the Coldplay star, 40, backstage at a concert in October 2002.

The former flames, who share 13-year-old Apple and 11-year-old Moses, were married in a romantic ceremony in a plush hotel in Southern California in December 2003.

But the exes went their separate ways for good in March 2014, describing the process as 'conscious uncoupling', after Gwyneth filed for divorce, which was finalised in July 2016.

'I love Brad!' Paltrow has known the 46-year-old executive producer as far back as 2010 when she filmed her first of five guest stints on Fox's Glee, which Brad co-created with Ryan Murphy

The singer embarked on a new love story with Brad after they met on the set of Glee in 2014 and after months of speculation they went public in April 2015.

Of her new relationship, she wrote: 'For the first time I feel like I'm in an adult relationship that is sometimes very uncomfortable because he sort of demands a certain level of intimacy and communication that I haven't been held to before.'

Meanwhile, Chris has been dating 28-year-old Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson.

The new hot couple are enjoying the early throes of passion as they only went public with their relationship in December 2017.
