Shakira teams up again with handsome crooner Maluma in new music video for song Trap

In 2016, she teamed up with the handsome singer for the song, Chantaje.

And Shakira and Maluma have joined together again, this time for the track, Trap.

On Friday, the mother-of-two debuted the music video for their latest song, which was edited entirely in black and white.

The video opens with the Colombian songstress, 40, in a pool of water and steam.

Next, Maluma, 23, appears on-screen to sing his piece, and also emerges from a pool of water and steam. 

While they appear separate for initial part of the video, the attractive duo later unite for several shots.

The production was directed by Catalan director Jaume de Laiguana. Jaume, 51, has directed previous projects for Shakira, including her 2006 tour. 

The video's song, Trap, appears on the blonde beauty's recent album, El Dorado, which was released in 2017.

Last summer, the track was on the Billboard chart for one week, and peaked at number 45.

In an interview with E! , Maluma spoke of the song, and how the duo teamed up for it. 

'We worked on this song almost a year ago when we were working the Chantaje song in Barcelona, and I told her that there was a genre that is happening in the streets and the underground world,' he began.

'She loved it and then we did a new song. Wait for it, because I think you're going to like it. It's very sensual, but it has a lot of concepts.'
