Madonna has offered some unusual advice for mothers-to-be.

She posted a video of herself on Instagram on Saturday at her daughter, Mercy James' 12th birthday party pretending to be pregnant with a glass of champagne in her hand.

The footage began with her saying 'you guys look, Louis Vuitton is finally making maternity wear' while gesturing to the hooded top she is wearing covered in their signature print.

Underneath the hoodie appeared to be some sort of padding which she seemed to be pretending is her unborn child.

She continued with some ill-advice: 'And right now I don't want the baby to move too much so I'm going to drink some champagne.'

After sipping champagne the pop icon then said that she is drinking bubbly to 'keep the baby calm'.

Worse for wear: Madonna seemed slightly worse for wear during the video she posted on Instagram on Saturday telling her followers that she was expecting a baby called 'Graffiti'

In the clip Madonna announced that her 'baby' was conceived in a 'gallery environment'.

The Material Girl hit-maker then tells her 10,700,000 Instagram followers that she is planning on naming the new baby 'Graffiti'.

Referencing the recent Times up movement Madonna signs off with: 'That's right so #timesup, drink up and don't be a f*** up.'

In the video that was captioned with 'Parenting Wisdom at Mercy James B-Day Party! @louisvuitton @vhils #artforfreedom#lisbon.'

Madonna had been preparing for Mercy James' birthday earlier in the week by baking a cake with her twin girls, Estere and Stella, 5.

She posted a sweet snap of them licking the whisk as they helped bake a dessert, likely for sister Mercy's belated 12th birthday.

'Cooking up something special this weekend!' she captioned the image, along with the hashtags 'birthday fun', 'family', 'food', and 'happiness.

Madonna has six kids in total—two biological and four adopted from Malawi, Africa.

The adorable Estere and Stella were photographed in matching Mini Rodini pajamas as they whipped up a dessert in the kitchen of Madonna's new home in Lisbon.

She purchased the home back in September 2017 just after adopting the twins in February.

Madonna adopted her son David Banda, 12, back in 2006 and later Mercy James, 12, in 2009.

Another year! Mercy celebrated her birthday on January 22

On January 22, Mercy celebrated her 12th birthday alongside her mother and siblings.

Madonna posted two photos of her blossoming daughter on Instagram.

‘Your smile lights up the galaxy,’ she said in a post. ‘Happy Birthday to this rare and beautiful Child!! Chifundo (Mercy) James!’ she wrote in another.

Welcome home! The Like A Virgin hit maker adopted son David Banda, 12, back in 2006 and later Mercy James, 12, in 2009. The twins joined the family in February 2017

The mother-of-six has been married twice, first to actor Sean Penn from 1985 to 1989.

Her second marriage of eight years was to Guy Ritchie, and they share son Rocco Ritchie, 17.

Madonna shares daughter Lourdes Leon, 21, with her ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon.
