Dani Alves showed his catwalk skills matched his eccentric fashion sense as the Paris Saint-Germain defender embraced Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week at home with model wife Joana Sanz.

Labelled a 'diva' by the Spanish model, Alves strutted his stuff in one of his partner's furry jackets.

And after attending one of the events on Monday wearing a £1,100 Versace blazer, the PSG right-back did not disappoint on Wednesday as he showcased a shiny gold choice for the Zuhair Murad show.

The Brazilian right-back has been a regular at various Paris Fashion Week events along with team-mate Neymar due to his wife's ongoing involvement in the unveiling of designer collections.

And with plenty of time off having been sent off in Ligue 1 on Sunday, Alves has offered an insight into what his life is like off the pitch.

Alves was forced to sit out of PSG's French Cup round of 32 tie at home to Guingamp on Wednesday as he began a spell on the sidelines following a straight red card in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Lyon.

The defender was about to be booked by referee Clement Turpin for a rash challenge before the Brazilian screamed in Turpin's face and the colour of the card quickly changed to red.  

Attending Wednesday's Zuhair Murad show, Alves once again stood out for his bold outfit 

He wore a £1,100 Versace jacket on Monday (R) and opted for silky gold for Wednesday's event

Alves also wore the jacket when he attended PSG's Coupe de France match against Guingamp

Goals from Nabil Fekir and ex-Manchester United winger Memphis Depay proved the difference despite a wonder goal from Larwin Kurzawa and the Parisians suffered a rare defeat.

Alves has become well-known as a real character off the pitch among his team-mates and supporters and especially for his fashion choices.

Often stealing the limelight with his extravagant designs, Alves is not afraid to push the boundaries and is sure to have impressed his wife's peers on the front row of the Paris catwalk this week.
