Vanessa's upcoming releases include two films, Second Act and Dog Days, which are scheduled to be released this year.

Her recent DC Comics TV show Powerless - about a company that produces consumer goods to help regular citizens contend with the side-effects of superhumans' escapades - was canceled last May in the middle of its first season.
The show was developed by Ben Queen, who left the showrunner position last August after the pilot had been picked up.
