It's been a mostly-harmonious Celebrity Big Brother season thus far.

But there have been fresh tears over the last 24 hours, after a group discussion about having sex on TV.

Discussing it as part of a Question Time task chaired by Ann Widdecombe, Shane J has admitted he would indeed indulge in some explicit antics while taking part on a reality show, should he feel comfortable with the other person.

This prompted a slew of eye-rolls from the likes of Ann and Amanda Barrie - as well as Jess Impiazzi.

Jess, however, was less disapproving and more uncomfortable about the discussion, given her own track record with televised sex.

Appearing on the second season of Ex On The Beach in 2015, Jess found herself rekindling the flame with her bad boy ex-lover Rogan O'Connor and ending up in bed with him.

When it happened, she was heard declaring that she was 'so disappointed' in herself, yet instructed him to 'keep going'.

The past: 'It was my own fault, I knew I was going on a show with a boyfriend and I swore to myself that I wouldn't have done something like that. But I just didn't want people to think my value was less,' Jess sobbed

The CBB chat clearly unearthed past demons and Jess took herself off to the diary room to reflect on it - ending up getting extremely upset.

In a clip from the forthcoming episode, she said: 'I was just a bit... by the people's comments... I was just a bit... oh is that what people think of me... and it just... it just hurt my feelings a bit.

'It was my own fault, I knew I was going on a show with a boyfriend and I swore to myself that I wouldn't have done something like that. But I just didn't want people to think my value was less.

'In here I suppose I've bonded with people and I didn't want anyone to think less of me because of something that I thought, personally, was a mistake to myself.'

Amanda chimed in: 'You must be desperate darling'

The upset was prompted when Ann asked the group: 'Would you judge a woman who had sex on TV more harshly than a man.'

Ann added: 'Oh dear. Well my answer is I would judge both pretty harshly.'

Shane J answered: 'I think that society does judge men and women differently with regards to sex. A man who has multiple partners is a stud and a woman who has multiple partners is a slut.'

He then admitted: 'You might all roll your eyes when I say this but - would I have sex on television...'

At this point, the Ru Paul's Drag Race star caught Amanda looking disapprovingly around the room.

'We didn't even get there and you're rolling your eyes Amanda!' he declared.

'I was not rolling my eyes darling, I was looking at my glasses,' she insisted.

Shane J went on: 'If I was in this environment and I was with somebody who was attracted to me and I was attracted to and them and we were in bed together... I probably would find myself engaging in sexual conduct in here.'

Amanda chimed in: 'You must be desperate darling.'

He replied: 'I'm not desperate I'm just not a prude or ashamed of my body or of sex.'
