And Nicole Richie darted between meetings while promoting her collaboration with JCPenney in New York City on Thursday.

The reality star turned fashion designer, 36, was sporting wireless Apple earbuds as she left an interview at New York Live, while stepping out in a stylish winter ensemble.

The mother-of-two - who is the daughter of music legend Lionel Richie, 68 - bundled up for her busy day in a pair of chic tight leather pants and a chunky white turtleneck sweater.

Nicole kept the winter chill at bay with a grey wool coat, and teetered on a pair of heeled leather boots.

The fashionista's understated accessories were on point, carrying a black, textured cross body purse and wearing a series of silver hoops in one ear.

While outside, Nicole threw on a pair of aviator shades to shelter her eyes from the winter sunshine in Manhattan.

The starlet has teamed up with JCPenney to curate a collection of items for the holiday shopper on a budget, with every gift under $150.

She told New York Live TV on Thursday: 'I picked things that I want and things that I would appreciate. Who doesn’t want a pair of vans? I know I do.'

Shoppers can purchase the items at the NYC pop-up called Jacques Penne on Friday and Saturday.

All proceeds from the pop-up will go to the JCPenney foundation to assist underprivileged families in need.

As well as promoting her recent fashion collaboration, Nicole has been busy working on her own House Of Harlow clothing line.

The former The Simple Life star has also tried her hand at acting, appearing in NBC sitcom Great News.

The star has been married to Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, 38, since 2010, when they tied the knot at Nicole's father Lionel Richie's estate in Beverly Hills.

The couple raise two children, daughter Harlow, nine, and son Sparrow, eight, together.
