She was devastated to be voted off in a shock elimination after going up against Lemar in the skate-off.

And Stephanie Waring, 39, was quick to point out that fans were left fuming by her sudden exit when she appeared on Lorraine with Sylvain Longchambon on Monday.

Watching from home with pride, Sylvain's 35-year-old wife Samia Longchambon hit out at Lorraine for pronouncing her husband's name wrong.

On Lorraine, Stephanie admitted she was taken back by the 'outrage' from viewers as she was sent home despite Lemar stumbling during his performance.

Of her exit, she told the presenters: 'I've had an incredible reaction from fans, there's been a lot of outrage.'

The Hollyoaks actress was gutted her time on the ice rink had been a brief affair after she danced with Sylvain for the last time to Ella Henderson's Glow.

Dancing on Ice hopeful Stephanie confessed it had been hard going against the singer in the skate-off as he is one of her 'good friends'.

She said: 'He's one of my good friends so it was hard to be in the skate off with him.'

Although Stephanie had managed to make improvements on her debut performance on the reboot show, she didn't make the cut for next week's episode.

She divulged: 'I'm really sadden that we've had to leave so soon, we've put a lot of work in. It is what it is.

'I always thought Dancing on Ice, I thought it was all based on that skate-off. I wanted the opportunity to improve on my skate and grow in the competition.

'I was very confused about the trip and yet I'm the one to go home. It's a lot of hard work down the toilet.'

Stephanie confessed she was 'really nervous' because she let the pressure of the show get to her in a candid interview with the pair.

'Yeah there is a lot of pressure and I think I let it get to me,' she admitted. 'He's always saying relax. I get really nervous and I know I can skate.

'I'm sorry that I let it get to me. My schedule is jammed pack, I struggled with it but I loved every minute of it.'

While she hailed Sylvain as 'brilliant' for teaching her, the professional ice skater insisted Stephanie didn't have enough time to show off her skills.

He said: 'Training was different to the live show, she was skating 60% of what she can do.'

Elsewhere on the program, Phil and Jordan Bandjo discussed how Brooke Vincent's wardrobe malfunction could have proved fatal.

Phil claimed: 'It was a major problem. The peril of the sequin, in between every skate and commercial breaks all of our skate tech were out because if they(skaters) hit a sequin they can break their skate.'

Social media was awash with viewers venting their anger on Twitter to claim Stephanie should not have been sent home from the show.

On Sunday, she struggled to hold back the tears when she was sent home from the competition despite the panel admitting her rival had stumbled in his performance. 

As Stephanie said goodbye to the ice, she told hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: 'You know what? I’ve had the most amazing time, and I’m really proud of myself. Thank you to everyone, thank you Sylvain.'

As the judges made their final decision, Jason Gardiner said he was unsure whether to go with 'stiff' or 'messy', choosing to save Stephanie.

Ashley Banjo also chose to save Stephanie but Christopher Dean disagreed choosing to save Lemar.

Head judge Jayne Torvill, who had the casting vote, then chose to save Lemar and as a result sent Stephanie home.
