Mel C (left), Mel B (centre), Victoria Beckham (right) and Geri Horner (left inset) were seen arriving at Geri's Hertfordshire home for a meeting to discuss the Spice Girls (inset right) reuniting as a five-piece for the first time in six years, as part of a huge £50million deal on Friday. Music mogul Simon Fuller, the chart-topping girl band's original manager, was also pictured heading inside the property, no doubt keen to oversee the day's agenda. Victoria (pictured in London on Thursday night) is only said to be prepared to take part in the reunion if she doesn't have to sing. The reformation will mark the first time the girls have worked together since 2012. The Spice Girls performed at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony that year, and later reunited in the autumn of 2012 for the launch of their musical Viva Forever.

Despite carrying two bags of shopping, she bravely grabbed the handlebars as the thugs tried to steal the scooter away. A businessman then ran across the road to help before two builders brandishing poles ran after the men forcing them to flee. Mrs Bodger told the Evening Standard: 'I didn't think twice.  I don't run away. I was in the Wrens (Women's Royal Naval Service) and I thought 'no way are they having that!'

'I want that son of a b****!' Victims' father attacks paedophile USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar in court moments after it is revealed he molested all three of his daughters

Randall Margraves stood at the podium as two of his daughters read their victim impact statements in Eaton County Court, and when the girls were done asked Judge Janice Cunningham if he could have five minutes alone in a room with 'this demon.' When she denied that request he asked for a minute alone with the convicted child molester, which was also denied by the judge. He then lunged toward the defense table and raised a fist before being brought to the ground and handcuffed by deputies. And it was, fittingly, Nassar's defense attorney who shielded him from the angry father, who appeared to be almost twice the size of former USA Gymnastics team doctor.

Beautician Sue Rogers (left, with her son in hospital) will spend the rest of her life mourning the death of her eldest child, Nick Rogers (top centre), who was just 26 when Lee Monk (top right), 20, killed him. Speaking after Monk's sentencing for manslaughter at Norwich Crown Court yesterday, heartbroken Miss Rogers, 45, of Wymondham, Norfolk, said: 'I hope he rots in jail and I can now get some closure and find some peace.' Before the fatal attack on July 17 last year, Mr Rogers had turned his life around, losing ten stone in weight and training to be a bouncer. He was on the way to the gym to work out, when he nipped into his local Morrisons around 7pm, only to encounter Monk - who he had fallen out with before - near the checkouts, where they had a row. JAN MOIR: The choices on the royals' tour were a new low

Sometimes, I wonder if I am being too harsh about William and Kate. Is it just me? Do I expect too much? Should we leave these uninteresting young people to go about their taxpayer-funded business without comment or criticism? For my part, I certainly can't argue with this excellent style digest of William and Kate's official visit to Sweden and Norway. My favourite pair of Premier Inn Royals trundled around Stockholm and Oslo looking like they had dived into the bargain bin of a Seventies charity shop and fought over the polyester hand-me-downs at the bottom of the pile. Dodgy fur, foul prints, murky colours, glum expressions, Queen Mum shoes - what was going on? Even by their own dire standards, this was a new low for the Duke and Duchess of Frump, who seem to have taken it upon themselves to dress exactly like Charles and Camilla, but only worse, right down to Kate's boots and Cossack hat. Why are they so old before their time, so darned middle-aged and dull?

One of the on-board cameras captured 16 separate scenic images that show various points on its journey (top right), as seen from the top of the Vera Rubin Ridge, which were then stitched together to form the sweeping image.
