But Kristin Cavallari is reportedly set to make a comeback to reality television, with her own series on E!

TMZ reports the star, 31, is planning a show which follows her life and fashion career in Nashville - despite vowing she would never 'risk' going back to television, for the sake of her family.

Sources told the site that Kristin's show will follow her at home and working life in Nashville, Tennessee, and attempts to expand her jewellery line Uncommon James.

The series, preparing to air on E! later this year, will focus on Kristin as a designer, but it is believed her husband Jay Cutler will make brief appearances in scenes shot at home.

MailOnline has contacted Kristin's representatives for comment.

Kristin is no stranger to reality television, having risen to fame on MTV's Laguna Beach with the likes of Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth, before appearing on ballroom competition show Dancing With The Stars.

However back in 2012, Kristin confessed she would never return to reality television, as she did not want to risk her relationships with loved-ones.

When asked if she would ever do another reality series, she told HollywoodLife: 'My family is too precious to me.

'A lot of relationships and friendships I had during The Hills and Laguna Beach were ruined, so I would never risk that with my family.'

Yet, it was only last month that she appeared to change her mind, and confessed she was 'open' to the idea - as long as her children were not involved.

Speaking on Spencer and Heidi Pratt's podcast, she said: 'To go back to that now as a mom and a wife, it would have to be different.

'I would have to be an executive producer. I would have to have more control and it would have to be more on my kind of terms. I would never put my kids on a reality show.'

Kristin is the doting mother to three children - sons Camden, five, and Jaxon, three, and daughter Saylor, two, who she shares with NFL player husband Jay.

However, she is also the owner of her successful jewellery brand Uncommon James, which she recently confirmed she is expanding into home wares, such as 'jewellery dishes, salad tongs, wine glasses, and so much more.'

She is also eagerly awaiting the release of her cookbook True Roots in April, which features a collection of recipes for gluten, dairy, and refined sugar free goodies.
