She has been littering her social media accounts with smouldering bikini snaps since slimming down from 10st 9lbs to 8st 7lbs.

Yet Sophie Kasaei was displaying a wholly different side to her super-glamorous Instagram self on Wednesday as she took a break from Geordie Shore filming in Australia while going make-up free in loose-fitting clothing.

The 28-year-old show stalwart wore a baggy T-shirt and a coordinating baker boy cap for breakfast with her co-star Abbie Holborn, yet showed off a contrasting look hours later when she shared a before and after weight loss image online.

Sophie was one of the original cast members of the MTV show in its 2011 inauguration before various on-off stints however she is back for the latest series. 

Ahead of filming Down Under, the South Shields-born beauty saw her huge weight loss and has since launched her own nutrition range inspired by her hard work.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Sophie shared an image of her bikini body last year before displaying her sensational frame in a scanty two-piece.

She added a caption reading: 'Guys what got me through the hard days was comparing before pictures to what I looked like Now and it reminded me me how far I’d come and encouraged me to keep going. Try it, it really does help!'

While her raven-haired colleague went for a flirty leopard print cami dress, Sophie was wholly more casual in her pink velour T-shirt dress with a cord hat. 

The brunette beauty told MailOnline she was in denial about her size until her split from long-term boyfriend Joel Corry in December, when she realised things needed to change.

'I always used to think that I was a skinny girl and in reality, I wasn't. I would try and squeeze into a size eight dress because I didn't want to believe I was a size 16,' Sophie said.

'There were pictures of me on the beach in June, and it was at that point where I thought, "Is that actually me?". I couldn't believe it was me. I never thought I was that big. I was so in denial about my weight.

'When you're bigger you get yourself into such a rut where you think you can't get out. You think, 'I'm fat now, what is the point in losing weight?''

Since revealing her transformation in January, Sophie has joined the Geordie Shore cast in Australia to film scenes for the new series.
