Some you win, some you Lou-s: Ms Redknapp makes a rare fashion faux pas in an unflattering metallic midi dress at the BRIT Awards
She usually always strikes the right style note when she hits the red carpet.
But Louise Redknapp made a rare fashion faux pas as she attended the 2018 BRIT Awards at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday night.
The singer, 43, suffered an unusual sartorial misstep in an unflattering metallic midi dress, featuring blue sequin stripes and a high turtleneck.

The curve-hugging number looked a little ill-fitting and flashed Louise's nude slip underneath due to the semi-sheer fabric.
The mother-of-two teamed her dress with a metal box clutch and matching heeled stilettos.
In spite of her fashion faux pas, Louise looked typically beautiful, tying her brunette locks back in a ponytail and opting for stunning smokey eye make-up.
Louise went solo for the red carpet appearance following her divorce from husband Jamie Redknapp in December after 19 years together.

Say it in sequins like Louise in a dress by Nina Ricci
From feathers to florals, we lost track of how many trends we spotted on the BRIT Awards red carpet this time around. But sequins will always make an appearance at a glamorous event!
Louise Redknapp chose a blue high neck number by Nina Ricci for the event, which features vertical sequin stripes. It's from the Resort 2017 collection, and we've actually spied similar versions on Nicole Kidman and Diane Kruger.
It's not available to buy online, but you can get your hands on something similar by clicking (right) through to The Outnet.
Or if you've got an occasion that calls for some sequins, check out the best of the rest in our edit below. This V by Very dress could definitely pass for designer!
The Strictly Come Dancing favourite also sported a white rose in support of the Me Too movement, which requested all guests attending the awards ceremony carry the bloom in a show of solidarity against sexual harassment in the workplace.
While performers for the BRITs had been confirmed earlier in the day, Ariana Grande reportedly threw the show into chaos after being forced to pull out at the last minute due to illness.
However Liam Gallagher stepped into replace the songstress, performing a tribute to those killed in the Manchester terror attack in May last year.

The awards ceremony - hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall - saw Dua Lipa and Stormzy come out on top with two gongs each, with the grime megastar also scooping the top honour of British Album of the Year.
The international categories also saw huge megastars including Drake, Beck, P!nk and Taylor Swift up for awards, as well as Bjork's ninth BRIT nomination.
Sadly the Icelandic singer came up short, with Lorde winning Best International Female, along with Kendrick Lamar for Best International Male and Foo Fighters for Best International Group.
It's party time: Louise later headed to the Warner Music BRITs afterparty at London's Freemasons' Hall hosted by CIROC, where she slipped into her second outfit of the evening, a more flattering mini-dress
Girl about town: It seemed attending just one glitzy soiree simply wasn't enough and Louise later headed over to the SONY BRITs afterparty at the Corinthia Hotel
