Mike Fisher, Carrie Underwood's husband, has slammed reports that they are getting divorced.

The 37-year-old NHL player spoke out after posting a Biblical passage on Instagram Sunday, which one follower interpreted as hinting at alleged marital trouble.

The verse from Psalm 139:23-24 read: 'Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.'

Mike added in the caption: 'One of my new favorite verses because I need this reminder daily!'

One fan however wrote in the comments section that she was 'Praying for you and Carrie.'

The fan continued, adding: 'Ignore the media! Hold tight to each other. There are always bumps in the road. Keep focusing on Jesus!' via Us Weekly on Wednesday. 

Finishing off with: 'He will guide you thru!'

Mike responded to the fan, writing: 'That’s not media. We’ve never been better. Thanks.'

According to Us Weekly, the country singer and the athlete, who are already parents to son Isaiah, two, are actively trying to become pregnant.

The magazine's insider noted that: 'Carrie and Mike have a great life and a very strong marriage — one that their friends envy. They are completely committed to each other and in it for the long run.'

In January, Carried revealed to her fans that she fell at her home in November, resulting in needing 50 stitches in her face and a broken wrist.   

She said to her fan club: 'I am determined to make 2018 amazing and I want to share things with you along the way,' she wrote. 'And when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different,' via People.
