She is said to have welcomed her husband Paddy back into their family home two weeks after he was pictured arm-in-arm with Nicole Appleton.

And Christine McGuinness seemed to be working towards her broken heart as she liked a cryptic Instagram post on Sunday.

The 29-year-old liked a note about not 'wasting your time on revenge', seemingly hinting about her recent relationship woes.

The cryptic Instagram quote said: 'Don't waste your time on revenge. Those who hurt you will eventually face their own karma.'

Christine had originally hinted at marriage troubles on her own Instagram page, when the pictures of Paddy enjoying a night with All Saints singer Nicole first emerged.

But her latest activity on the social media site comes amid rumours she has let her 44-year-old TV presenter husband back into their Cheshire home after he 'managed to win back her trust'.

A source told The Sun: 'Things were really not good between the couple up until early last week and friends were left fearing for their marriage.

'They have had some very heated and emotional arguments over the last couple of weeks and Paddy obviously had a lot of explaining to do to Christine.

'Christine now believes her husband when he says that nothing romantic happened with Nicole and he has managed to win back her trust.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Paddy McGuinness for comment.

The Take Me Out host had previously been said to be in crisis talks with his wife after The Phoenix Nights actor enjoyed a night in London with singer Nicole, 43.

According to The Mirror, Christine didn't even know he had a close relationship with the singer and has since told friends of the incident: 'He has broken my trust'.

A source told the publication: 'Christine knows Paddy is flirty, she has lived through him being on Take Me Out surrounded by hundreds of pretty girls but this is the last straw.

'It is the lying that really upset her. She is heartbroken. The trust has been broken. Her children are her main priority.'

Since the photos emerged of Paddy walking arm-in-arm with the All Saints singer, Christine has been spotted breaking down at the wheel of her car and embarking on 'crisis talks' with her husband in a park near to their Cheshire home.

In photos taken earlier this month, the ITV presenter was seen drawing his emotional wife in for a hug, as they 'discussed their marriage woes' for well over an hour.

After the pictures emerged, Christine went on to share a number of cryptic posts on her Instagram page about 'things falling apart and 'deserving more', before she was pictured crying at the wheel of her car days later.

Paddy and Nicole have since unfollowed each other on Instagram, while the comedian has also unfollowed the singer on Twitter.
