'We're definitely having another kid': Ashlee Simpson and husband Evan Ross reveal they plan on adding to their family

And Ashlee Simpson Ross, 33, and husband Evan, 29, plan to add another to the mix as they opened up in an interview with Claudia Jordan on The Raw Word as reported by E News.

'I'd love more kids. We're definitely having another one,' said the grandson of Diana Ross on Tuesday.

'I want to finish this album and then definitely, for sure,' Ashlee added.

'Definitely one more, and then we'll see what happens after that.'

The couple - who married in 2014 at Diana's estate in Connecticut - share two-year-old daughter Jagger.

They also parent 9-year-old son Bronx, from Ashlee's previous marriage to Pete Wentz which lasted from 2008 to 2011.

Claudia asked how they manage to keep the children grounded growing up with a famous family.

'As long as you give your children love and they understand what's going on in the world and have compassion, I think it's not the hardest thing in the world,' Evan explained.

'And being a mom is my number one thing in life. Our kids are incredible,' Ashlee chimed in.

'It is normal, our life,' added Evan.

Meanwhile, Pete has been in a particularly celebratory mood of late, as he announced on New Year's Day that he is set to be a dad for the third time.

He made the announcement via an Instagram post showing his two sons holding a pink box - indicating he will finally be welcoming a baby girl.

He is already the father of three-year-old son Saint with partner Meagan Camper, 28, and this will mark his second child with the model.

The musician captioned his Instagram post: 'Happy New Year! We’re kicking the year off with news of the best gift yet: [baby girl emoji] coming to our family in 2018... love Pete, Meagan, Bronx and Saint.'
