'Roll over and spread your legs': Unsettling new teaser for The Handmaid's Tale season two unveiled on International Women's Day

Hulu certainly picked an apt day to release it.

The unsettling new teaser for season two of The Handmaid's Tale was unveiled on Thursday — International Women's Day.

The brief 30-second clip is filled with grim imagery, and the voice-over is not much more comforting.

'Wear the red dress, wear the wings, shut your mouth, be a good girl, roll over and spread your legs,' Elisabeth Moss's Offred can be heard whispering. 'Yes, ma’am, may the Lord open.'

Baying dogs, a hangman's noose, someone being executed with a bullet to the head, and one nasty slap across the face.

The final shot shows Moss covered in blood — and it doesn't appear to be her own.

While season one followed the arc of exec producer Margaret Atwood's famous 1985 novel, the second will be newly imagined.

The show picked up eight of the 13 Primetime Emmys in September, including Outstanding Drama series.  

The first two episodes of season two stream on Hulu from Wednesdsay, April 25.
