On Thursday Chastain posted an Instagram in celebration of International Women's Day that showed her wearing a white T-shirt with the message: 'We Should All Be Feminists'.

She enhanced the image's powerful statement by captioning: 'FEMINISM: the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes #happyinternationalwomensday @renatocampora.'

The Zero Dark Thirty star wore her gorgeous red tresses down while donning minimal makeup except for earthy/nude eye shadow in the picture.

Chastain's post received more than 70,000 likes, but there was one comment that caught the star's eye.

'Yes feminist that believe in God and stand up for The Unborn,' wrote a fan with the username 'karinhschulz'. 'I would be for that kind of feminist.'

Instead of ignoring the comment, the Molly's Game actress replied directly to her follower.

'Yes you can decide what is right for you,' Chastain wrote. 'I am pro-choice and I believe that everyone has the right to make their own decision.'

'I read about your journey to become a mother and it broke my heart. I hope that your dream will come true in 2018! Much love to you.'

Chastain took things a step further after she responded to the Instagram comment and proceeded to make the compassionate donation.

The Interstellar actress also made sure to leave a touching comment on Schulz's GoFundMe page.

Chastain was recently hailed by fans—including fellow actress Jada Pinkett Smith—for advocating pay equity in Hollywood.

The actress helped Octavia Spencer receive equal pay for an upcoming comedy they're doing together, after she learned that there was an unfair wage gap in the women's pay.

'Jessica stood up for Octavia and I want you to know because they stood together, they got three times what they were asking for as a unit,' Pinkett Smith said during the Women Breaking Barriers panel at this year's Sundance Film Festival.

'It's nice to go out and march, we can do that. It's nice to wear black at the Golden Globes. But what are we doing behind closed doors? And I got to give our sister Jessica Chastain her props,' she concluded.
