She made her name as one of the 'magnificent seven' supermodels of the 1990s. 

And while she'll be celebrating her 50th birthday later this year, Helena Christensen proved she's still got what it takes to rock a skimpy bikini.  

Enjoying the last of Sydney's warm weather, the Denmark-born beauty was spotted taking a dip at Bronte ocean pool with a female friend on Sunday.

The model is in Australia to launch her sunglasses frames, which is a collaboration with Pared Eyewear, and will be carried by upscale department store, David Jones.   

The catwalk queen rocked a skimpy nude-coloured two-piece bikini, flaunting her flat stomach, toned arms and muscled thighs.

The New York-based models two arm tattoos were clearly visible.

Lapping up the warm 23 degree day, at times the former Victoria's Secret angel chatting with her while sitting in the Ocean pool. 

After the dip, the catwalk queen walked the scenic Bondi to Bronte walk coastal walk in the city's eastern suburbs.    

Appearing to have not aged a day, the former Revlon spokeswoman showed off her flawless complexion, with barely a mark on her skin.

The sighting comes after Helena, who shot to fame with the likes of Naomi Campbell and Stephanie Seymour, gave advice to young women who are part of the #MeToo generation.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the ageless beauty said parents of young models must take an active role in their early careers.      

'The responsibility lies with the designers, the big fashion houses, the agents, not so much with the girls and boys, they are so young,' she told the publication.

'They are still developing personalities and becoming who they will be as grown ups.'

Speaking to fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar, the model said she was excited to be in Australia for the launch, adding she has a strong history with the country.    

'I've had a connection and history with Australia since I was in my early 20s and it's really lovely to be here with people that I know and friends both from Melbourne and Sydney and present what we are proud of.'
