Two neo-Nazi lovers who bludgeoned their housemate to death with a hammer before going to the cinema have been convicted of murder. Melony Attwood, 37, and her 22-year-old live-in lover Robert Edhouse, killed her partner Alan Taylor, 42, in Perth in April 2016. They took it in turns to hit him with a hammer before changing out of their bloodied clothes and going to see The Jungle Book to create a false alibi. The pair then went to another neo-Nazi's house where they laughed and joked about the killing and talked about how they would get $1million from Mr Taylor's life insurance. The next day they went through the 'charade' of calling Triple-0 and reporting Mr Taylor's death. Paramedics said the helpless victim may have been alive for up to five hours after the attack before bleeding out.

Heiress Mina Basaran (second left), 28, died along with her friends and three flight crew when the private jet went down in southwest Iran after the engine reportedly caught fire mid-flight (bottom left). This is the shocking moment an alleged dangerous driver crashed into a ute causing a horror freeway smash with a Coles truck which left one man dead. Dramatic dashcam footage shows a black truck swerving in and out of lanes on the M1 north of Sydney on Friday afternoon. The truck swerves left and crashes into another ute, causing a pile up with a Coles truck as the vehicles veered off the road.

Two girls spent time on the same night in a VIP booth at a nightclub on the Gold Coast allegedly with tennis star Tomic and his friends. Doctors suspect the girls' drinks were spiked with strong date rape sedatives. Police say they are investigating as Tomic denies any knowledge of alleged drink-spiking.

A student accidentally sent a photo of her formal dress to a wrong number and sparked a heartwarming interaction with a Tennessee family. Later uploaded to Twitter, people discovered Tony's son (center) has leukaemia and donated over $15,000 to help with the boy's treatment. 'Wow. This is nuts! NSW father Stephen Taylor started growing his own cannabis plants so he could turn it to juice and treat his daughters Ariel and Morgan, who both have the debilitating Crohn's disease. Despite being made legal 18 months ago through the Narcotics Amendment Bill 2016, the drug is still unregistered and therefore is heavily regulated and notoriously difficult to access. As a result Mr Taylor could not get a doctor to prescribe or submit an application for the use of medical marijuana, he then turned to the drastic measure of growing his own. Mr Taylor faces a lengthy jail term and a large fine if found guilty of cultivation and possession of cannabis after his house was raided by police.

The images were discovered by relatives of former Hollywood security guard Aviv Wardimon, who said they had no idea he was friends with Marilyn Monroe before she became a movie star. This funny video shows Canadian traveller Xavier-Justin Nagy filming his comically tiny room in Chungking Mansions in Hong Kong. The room costs £21 to stay for one night but has no windows or floor space. Certainly not for the claustrophobic guest, Chungking Mansions, located in one of Hong Kong's busiest districts, has become famous among travellers because of its cheap rates and central location. In the clip, Xavier explains that the hotel was built as a residential building but it is now made up of many independent budget hotels, shops and restaurants. He flicks a neon switch in the room to reveal the tiny size showing the bed touching all four walls and the all-in-one toilet/shower so tiny that the door doesn't close while in use.

The jaw-dropping moment came courtesy of Texan diver Eli Martinez while he was on a cage-diving operation off Guadalupe Island, Mexico. A few seconds beforehand, the 14ft predator had launched itself out of the water to grab a hunk of meat. Upon landing back in the ocean, the 2000lb shark's momentum carried it on a collision course with the experienced tour guide's enclosure. After getting its jaws stuck on one of the bars, Eli calmly placed his palm under the massive fish's nose and shoved it off the metal and away to safety.

A soldier gave his wife, an emergency room nurse at Salem Hospital, quite the anniversary gift. Sgt. 1st Class Jason Johnson returned early from his overseas deployment to surprise his wife, Sandi, inside the emergency department inside the hospital.The heartwarming homecoming was captured on video by Dan Johnson, Jason’s brother, and posted March 6 on Salem Health’s Facebook page. The surprise happened on January 7, the date of the couple’s one-year wedding anniversary. Johnson was deployed to the Middle East with Golf Company, 1st Battalion, 189th Aviation Regiment, the medevac helicopter unit based in Salem. Johnson is a flight medic and platoon sergeant for the unit, which conducts medical evacuations, search and rescues, and wildland fire suppression operations using HH-60M Blackhawk helicopters.

Tony Harrison (pictured right) casually pulled the snake hiding in a tree and apologised to the python for bothering it. His helper was heard saying 'you could easily bite me right now'. The snake slithered across the grass and had a full bellow. The family were heard shouting 'oh my God' in the background.

A Long Island mansion built to resemble the famed Palace of Versailles in France is currently on the market for $60million. The ultra-lavish manor, named Maison des Jardins, was listed up for sale Thursday, Mansion Global reported. Hpnotiq liquor entrepreneur Raphael Yakoby sold his company back in 2003, when he invested in the property that has since been revamped for more than $3.25million.

Hidefumi Nakamura documents some of the most bizarre looking public toilets in the Japanese capital and posts the pictures to his dedicated Instagram page, toilets_a_go_go. He started the page after noting how many of the public toilets have strange designs that don't blend in with their sleek surroundings. Now, after spending the past year updating his quirky social media page, Mr Nakamura says he loves the diversity of Japanese toilets.

After having a double mastectomy Arinda Storm Weaver, 56, from Ohio started a MySpace account, blogging about her cancer journey and posting snaps of her doing her nails as she recovered. She received messages from men around the world, asking for more pictures and videos and now she charges $12 for 10-minute clips.
