She surprised the world by announcing her marriage to farmer turned chef Chris Fischer last month.

But Amy Schumer, 36, has no intention of obtaining his surname, as she explained to her father Gordon Schumer on her Instagram Story recently.

'I’m not Amy Fischer! Do you remember who Amy Fisher is? The Long Island Lolita. No, I’m keeping my last name. I’m keeping your last name,' she said during an Instagram story.

Long Island resident Mary Jo Buttafuoco was shot in the face by her husband Joey Buttafuoco's 17-year-old mistress Amy Fisher, in an infamous 1992 case.

Mary Jo survived, though she retained paralysis in half her face and lost hearing in one ear. Meanwhile, Fisher went to jail until 1999, then became a porn star.

On Tuesday this week, Schumer uploaded a throwback photo with a caption wishing a 'Happy birthday to my real husband @common'.

The snap showed her with the famous rapper, who turned 46 that day.
