Patton Oswalt shared his daughter's writing on Tuesday during an appearance on The Late Late Show.

The 49-year-old actor said his eight-year-old daughter Alice has 'just started writing' and was taking after her deceased mother, the bestselling crime author/journalist Michelle McNamara.

'Alice…she's very mature for her age,' Oswalt assured host James Corden, before reading the child's latest piece titled 'Fart Land'.

Fart Land is about a fantasy world, to which Oswalt said he would be banished for breaking too much wind.

McNamara died in April 2016 in her sleep at her family's Los Angeles home. Oswalt married Meredith Salenger in November 2017.

Oswalt also had some comments about President Donald Trump's firing of US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson via Twitter.

'Better Twitter than Tinder..but basically our president is like a passive aggressive boyfriend…it's total Mean Girls stuff,' he smiled.

The Emmy-winning comedian currently stars in the NBC sitcom A.P. Bio, alongside Glenn Howerton from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Corden, 39, flashed up Oswalt's yearbook photo, causing much embarrassment.

'You couldn't airbrush out the mullet? Oh my god,' cringed Oswalt who described his younger self as 'insufferable' and 'a moody hard lovin' rebel' who loved Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel.

Oswalt was joined on the show by fellow guest Darren Criss, 31, who busted out some sexy dance moves for the British talk show host.

Criss, who currently plays the murderous Andrew Cunanan in American Crime Story: The Assassination Of Gianni Versace, has become infamous for his near-naked dance scene on the show.

He recreated the scene with a few kinky ad libs directed at Corden.

The former Glee star wore a skintight vest and jeans for his entrance, with languid moves to the Phil Collins song  Easy Lover.

'Oh my god!' squealed Corden as Criss gyrated over him.

The pair appeared to develop a bit of a bromance throughout the show, with Criss joking that he'd like to write a musical for Corden to star in.

'You delicious little sausage,' cooed Corden, while touching Criss on the nose.
